Year 3 and 4 School Trip
Year 3 and 4 went to the Conwy Marina. When they arrived they saw Maria and Natalie. After meeting them they put on life jackets and got a clipboard, then they went on the pontoon carefully. After walking down the pontoon Maria showed them the oyster nursery, there are about 48 cages and only 27 oysters can fit in one nursery. Then Maria showed them the European oysters. Next they measured the European oysters with a caliper. Next they measured the length, width and the height, they then wrote it down on their clipboards. Afterwards they also spotted a lion's mane jellyfish along with the European eels which are critically endangered. After putting everything away, they played a quick game of truth and false. Finally they went back on the mini buses back to school.
