Criw Cymraeg
We are currently working to achieve our Bronze Cymraeg Campus award. The Cymraeg Campus Language Charter has been created by ERW Welsh in Education officers and is the first charter specifically created to develop Welsh in English medium schools. The charter consists of three awards – bronze, silver and gold. Each award comprises of ten targets and these targets become more challenging as you progress.

Our Criw
Cymraeg
Every week a different class presents a Welsh assembly. It is usually relevant to what the children have been learning in Welsh at that time. This term Dosbarth Elian presented information about themselves and Dosbarth Marian presented third person information about their friends.
Every week whoever is awarded Cymro/Cymraes yr Wythnos, gets to take home Seren and Sbarc. They then must send photos to school, that can be used to discuss their news in Welsh and encourages the pupils to speak Welsh and build on their confidence.
